My inspiration and rejuvenation comes from my time spent wandering in the forests and mountains in Banff and Kananaskis. Hiking through towering pines, camping beside turquoise lakes, and simply breathing in the fresh mountain air fuels my creativity. I translate these feelings into my art and experiment away with surface materials, textures, earthy elements, and clay.

I grew up in Winnipeg spending countless summers camping and playing in the trees. After University, marriage and a move to Calgary, I devoted my time to my career, and young family - and art became my little escape and quiet time. I honed my craft with late night experiments and all weekend art fests. Today, I nourish my soul with daily creativity and nature. It’s with this renewed focus and guidance from The Artist's Way, along with some very special people, that I’ve found the confidence to share my art with the world.
