Once you see it you can’t unsee it…The Dragon that is.
The climb to this view was relentless, but that walk on the ridge line made it all worth it. The sun was lighting up every nook of that magnificent mountain dragon and it was pulling me towards it.
My brush stayed true to the feeling of this moment - filled with awe and wonder. I’m so proud of this piece, because it looks like the feeling, not the view and accepting that transformation begins when you face your dragon.

Tree Island

Two Jack Lake is my favourite place to camp and paddle board. It truly feels like paradise here. I always make time to visit this little pine tree island, because it not only feels like you’re in a secret spot, but it’s so fun to jump across the rocks to get there.
So, I made the rocks out of clay so you could jump over them too, even if it’s in your imagination.
The rainbow-hued sky brings a sense of wonder, a feeling I hope shines through in every brushstroke.
First Snowfall

Inspired from an amazing hike to Rawson Lake in early October, where we were met with the first snowfall of the season. A soft mist hung low over the tree line, and the air carried that deep, clean scent of pine. There was magic in the stillness - in the way the colour and silence coexisted, in the way the world felt suspended between two seasons. I painted this to hold onto that peace. My hope is that wherever this piece lives, it brings with it a sense of calm, of breathing deeply, of returning to something that matters.

Spirit of the Climb

Moraine Lake feels like pure magic. Pines surround you while the jagged peaks shift colour and shine, hour by hour. Even in summer, the mountains stay snow-capped.
Painted in thick acrylic, and worked with a palette knife to give the mountains their weight and edge, and tree’s their shape and shadow.
I've paddle boarded that water and hiked Eiffel Lake, Larch Valley, Sentinel Pass — it still draws me in every year.
